What a difference the NEW Norbury Village Hall has made to our lovely village school. Over the past 12 months the hall has played a massive part in providing Norbury Primary School and Nursery with the perfect environment for numerous activities and events.

In July, the hall provided the perfect venue for the school’s summer performance – Cinderella. The brand new removable stage gave the children just the right amount of height to be visible but not encroaching on the space of the audience. The acoustics of the hall were ideal and were so perfect, microphones were not necessary. The lighting was also ideal for the occasion.

The school’s 2016 Batchburner cycle event was based at the village hall, where the hall and grounds were both used to their full potential. Direct access from the road onto the field made it easy for the riders and organisers to come and go as they pleased. The kitchen and hall providing everything required for the event.

Our very successful Year Six business venture, Brew with a View café, uses the hall on a monthly basis. Using the fully equipped kitchen to cater for in excess of 60 diners, who are able to sit in a fully air conditioned, naturally light and spacious hall with extensive views of the Long Mynd. Quite literally a Brew with a View!

In addition to the above main school events, the hall has been used over the past year for: ballroom dancing lessons, paper cinema workshops, the Christmas party, leavers assembly, awards ceremonies and many other activities.

The New Norbury Village Hall  has been a wonderful addition to the local community.
