Flicks in the Sticks – Screening ‘The Roses’ on Thursday 19 February at 7.30 pm

Flicks in the Sticks at Norbury Village Hall is screening ‘The Roses’ on Thursday 19 February – a remake of the 1989 dark comedy ‘The War of the Roses’ starring British actors Benedict Cumberbatch and Olivia Colman as estranged couple Mr and Mrs Rose. It will be interesting to see how it matches up to the original film, which starred Michael Douglas, Kathleen Turner and Danny DeVito (who also directed) – film buffs might need to re-watch to compare!
