Flicks in the Sticks Returns on Wednesday 24 September – Screening ‘The Salt Path’ at 7.30 pm
Flicks in the Sticks film nights return to the Village Hall at Norbury this Autumn. The first screening on Wednesday 24 September is ‘The Salt Path’ starring Gillian Anderson and Jason Isaacs.
Based on the best-selling book by Raynor Winn, a married couple receive a bad health diagnosis and also become homeless due to insurmountable circumstances. They decide to pack their bags and hike the South West Coast Path – the longest uninterrupted footpath in England.
Doors open at 7.00 pm with the film starting at 7.30 pm prompt. Entry is £5.00 per person, and there is a cash bar serving both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, with tea / coffee and ice-creams available from the kitchen – refreshments are available before the film gets underway and also during the interval, so lots of time to catch up with friends and neighbours too!
