Blooming Lovely

I’m sure you’ll all agree, that the entrance to the Village Hall has looked particularly stunning this year as the planting on the bank has matured.

After some hard graft to prepare the ground by Norbury volunteers in September 2016, the bank was planted with a mixture of tough ground cover plants, e.g. hardy Geraniums, Vinca Major, Bergenia, Pachysandra, Hypericum – the Geranium Macrorrhizum are spreading well and should give some good autumn colour this year.

We’d like to take this opportunity to thank Ann and Lynne for their continued maintenance work (weeding duties) which keep the bank looking so beautiful.
