Community Picnic – Saturday 17th June

On a very hot Saturday 17th June, the Village Hall had a picnic for the community of the Norbury area, where besides people bringing their own picnic lunch, we provided cakes & cream teas for the “Great Get Together” which was to help people meet & have fun as part of the late Jo Cox’s Memorial Charity. Besides scrumptious food, we had old cars, giant kite flying and toys & games for the children. It was attended by about 50 people & we made £200 towards charities such as The Red Cross, Save the Children and The Royal Voluntary Service.
