Welcome to Norbury Village Hall.  We have been lucky to have a village hall at the heart of our community since the 1950’s. However, in latter years the fabric of the building was deteriorating so the community set about fund raising to build a new village hall.  After many years of hard work and dedication we were delighted to secure £483,753 from the Big Lottery Fund to build a new village hall.  Our fabulous new hall is now completed and fully functional.

Whilst the new village hall is set in Norbury, it serves the parishes of Ratlinghope, Wentnor, Myndtown and Norbury a community of around 750 dwellings.  However, it is open to the wider community and boasts new facilities including a function room for 150 people, a fully fitted kitchen, bar, outside terrace with views of the stunning Shropshire Hills, including the Long Mynd. There is adequate parking.

Current users include the WI, Mothers & Toddlers and Pony Club.  However, the new facilities are set to attract new activities including Flicks in The Sticks, touring theatre groups, indoor bowling, fitness classes, alternative medicine clinics and a dance club etc.  The new hall is the perfect venue for celebrations and gatherings including parties, weddings and birthdays.
